Max von Konigburg is an impressive looking 5 year old black sable German Shepherd. Max is on the larger side and we wouldn’t be surprised if he weighs a hundred pounds. Living in a cage-free boarding kennel, Max is good with other dogs and is very well socialized. Max is good with new people he meets and well behaved in the kennel. We can tell though that Max looks out for his people. Even the volunteer who was taking his pictures could tell that he was on the alert and very watchful. If Max were part of your family you wouldn’t have to worry about an intruder, Max feels that is his job. He also seems to have some training and know his commands. Max rides well in the car and is a wonderful dog and companion.
